New Year's Resolutions

The last few years I have written up "goals" for the coming year. But not so much resolutions. Not sure why. Maybe because I know that my "resolution" lasts about 2 weeks. Wheras, if it's a goal, it's something I can "work on." Resolution implies "will power" to me, and I know I don't have a lot.

My two girls are swearing off "chips" this year, "unless they're tortilla chips."

Do you still do resolutions? Do you find they work for you? How long do they last? What were your resolutions for this this year?

This is the first year I have made goals/resolutions

Spiritually: Daily Bible reading
Financially: Stick to a budget becoming plastic free in 2008
Physically: Eliminate sugar
Emotionally: Stop interrupting
Habitually: Stop saying:
CRAP
FREAKING

Swearing off chips sounds like a good idea... lol

Otherwise, I just want to exercise more. I'm gonna try to do 20 mins on a treadmill 3 times a week... we'll see how far I make it.

I don't do resolutions. Goals yes. I write them in my planner. Just 2 or 3. I accomplished all from last yr, the major one being going back to school! YES! I like how you listed yours Cheryl. Neat. I'm still contemplating mine. Finish reading through the bible is one. Completing 12 credits for sch. I don't wait for the yr to start to have goals, as the Lord leads I write them down and work on them.

The New Year's Resolution I decided to set is boundries...lol. They work for about 5 minutes or less; that is if I don't regret setting them first. Of course, I am having a lot of anxiety just using the b-word. LOL.
I actually met all the goals I set last year except going on a missions trip.
