" I love you baby!" Translated, it usually means I am sleeping with your best friend. LOL
i'll have to be careful next time i hear that i guess??? yikes
I am not a fan of most of the lingo that is carelessly tossed around in the corporate world, but of the many, the one that has made my skin hurt since the first time I heard it is "going forward." And now, four years or so later, it still manages to make me cringe. Why not try, "from here on out" or "in the future" or "from this point on" or just about any other combination of english words that suggest the continued application of an idea or procedure that is being presently introduced. Just not "going forward."
i'm not sure that phrase bugged me before, but it probably will now! lol
I am entertained by "Dog" the bounty hunter...but the Hawaiian use of "bra" to refer to brother or bro makes me FREAKING NUTS! LOL
gal, baby or doll when referring to the feminine gender.
