what words or phrases bug you?

Lake Superior State University publishes an annual list of words or phrases they think should be banned, because of overuse or stupidity! Here's their list. http://www.lssu.edu/banished/current.php

" I love you baby!" Translated, it usually means I am sleeping with your best friend. LOL

I am not a fan of most of the lingo that is carelessly tossed around in the corporate world, but of the many, the one that has made my skin hurt since the first time I heard it is "going forward." And now, four years or so later, it still manages to make me cringe. Why not try, "from here on out" or "in the future" or "from this point on" or just about any other combination of english words that suggest the continued application of an idea or procedure that is being presently introduced. Just not "going forward."

I am entertained by "Dog" the bounty hunter...but the Hawaiian use of "bra" to refer to brother or bro makes me FREAKING NUTS! LOL
