Phillipians 1:6

I was finishing up a coaching session on the phone with someone today and prayed for them. At the end of my prayer I said, "And God we know that you will continue to do that work in her because you promised that 'You, who began a good work in her will complete it, until the day of Jesus Christ.'"

About a minute later, while I was still on the phone with her, I glanced at a new email that had come in from a neighbor. A very short email. But at the bottom, in red, was this.

Be Blessed today and Always!!

Philippians 1:6 states, “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Don’t be afraid, reserved, or insecure. Be confident in what God has deposited in you. Believe in your purpose and in your call. Stand by your passion and believe that it will manifest.

Coincidence? Perhaps.

But as Archbishop William Temple notes, the coincidences occur much more frequently when he prays.
